Samantha has just become obsessed with a few things...
First...babies. She loves babies and has to carry one everywhere. So tonight when I was trying to get her to sleep, she kept asking "please...please.." and pointing to her closet. Finally, I figured out, she wanted EVERY baby she owns to join her in her crib!
Secondly...the blankie. No matter where, she has to have her blankie with her. I never used to let her carry it cuz that just grossed me out, but yes, I have given in. I have been so tired, so I'm just sick of fighting her. I'd rather give in, let her carry it everywhere and pick up every germ from the ground, and shopping carts, and have to sneak it away while she's alseep to wash the blanket almost daily, rather than hear her cry uncontrollably until she gets it! Spoiled?...nah!
And of course....last but not least....the dreaded Dora Backpack. This rollerpack is BIGGER than Sammie! but, she insists on pulling it wherever we go. It was cute at first, but then it's becoming more of a pain! We didn't even know she knew who Dora was. Then, one day in Cosco with Mike's parents, she saw this dish set of Dora and had to have it. Of course, the parents said no, but Samantha pulled at grandpa's heartstrings and Grandma and Grandpa Yeates are so sweet, they bought it for her. Thanks guys! You're so sweet!!!
We gave her a drink out of the Dora cup, and now every drink is a "Dora". So, she asks me for a "Dora" which is code for drink! Crazy Days!!! She would NOT let the cup go. This is how she fell asleep in the car, Dora drink and all.
Isn't 18 Months just the best age?!!!

I absolutely love that picture of Sammy with all the babies in her bed with her...and she is asleep so soundly! That needs to be blown up and on the wall :) It is just too sweet!
Hello...I can totally relate. Brookie loves the babies and all that goes with it. We have the same Dora backpack and it is HUGE!!
She is so cute and so girly!!! Ezra's obsession is cars. It's so funny how girls and boys are so different! And there's nothing wrong with a little spoiling - especially when it means a sane mommy!

Caden had (has?) the same problem with his blanket. He only uses it at night now but when he was little he carried it everywhere. I had to totally sneak to wash it. He went through a few, the fabric started falling apart. Kids are too funny!! How did you get the picture of Sammie in her crib, great angle. She is sooo cute!!

She is darling!! Max is totally obsessed with shoes right now. His shoes, my shoes, Tate's shoes, Scott's shoes....any shoes he just wants to always have them on!

I love those pics kara! Sammy is so sweet! I know how the blankie thing goes, Ry and Jax both do that but they each have 2!!! She is seriously adorable! LOVE the sleeping one!

I came across your blog. I love these picture of your darling girls. They have the best curly hair (aren't you lucky) I have all girls as well - sure keeps life interesting. You look great! Time to go do Mrs. Utah eh?
