On Monday, August 17th Mike and I celebrated our 9th Anniversary. We went to lunch, shopping, spent the entire day together, and finished it up with dinner...all without kids :-) It was such a nice day. We sat at lunch and reminisced about the past years of dating and marriage. It was SO much fun! What a lucky girl I am ;)
On Wednesday, the 19th my little Bailee Rebecca started kindergarten! It was such a bittersweet day. I was so happy for her. We walked her into class the first day and she let go of our hands just as we got into the classroom. I felt myself trying to keep up with her because I was not ready to let go yet. I helped her find her desk and watched her for a second. When we left, I was trying not to cry. When I picked her up, she had a big grin on her face. She LOVES it! YAY!!!
Poor girl has Reactive Airway Disease...a lot like asthma...so nothing like a good old breathing treatment before the first day of school!
On Thursday, the 20th we headed up to Yellowstone with Mike's parents. It was SO much fun! We went to Yellowstone, swimming, shopping, Jackson Hole, and Idaho Falls! The kids traveled so good (for the most part!). The first day when we were headed back to the hotel Sammie said to Grandma..."Oh no! We forgot to find The Yellowstone Park!" I guess we should have explained a little better what "Yellowstone Park" was exactly!

Everytime Grandpa holds Austin, Austin holds onto his ear! We got a good laugh out of it!
Who knew? Except they spelled her name wrong! :)

Bailee saw this and said, "Look Grandma! It's the prophet!" We got a good chuckle from it!

So I probably shouldn't admit this but I totally cried reading your post today, ha ha! I just can't wait to get home and see you guys, mom and dad, and almost the whole family (wish it was everyone). Such a cute post! Glad you guys had fun on your little trip. Also happy belated anniversary! I'm glad Mike was able to be home so you could go celebrate and without kids...how good is that. Bailee looks super cute and is so grown up, it's hard to believe she is in school. Thanks for sharing the pics. everyone looks great; you and Mike, Mom and Dad, and the kids. It's hard to believe how much everyone changes in 9 months. It stinks to be missing out on so much but only a few more months and hopefully we'll be home to visit.
