Baby brother! We had the ultrasound today and it's a BOY! We are so excited! Bailee wanted to call everyone after, and tell them she was going to get a brother. She is quite the tease. She called my brother, Kohn, and told him, "I'm going to have a brother...and I hope he doesn't look like you!" We laughed good and hard after that one!
Several months ago, before I was even pregnant, Bailee told me right out of the blue one day, "Mom, the baby in your tummy, it's a boy...and his name is Jake." It caught me completely off guard. I have always thought about that, and so I was not surprised at all to find out we are going to be blessed with a little baby boy. It still amazes me how close to the Spirit children are.
I am excited, and a little nervous...I know how to do the "girl thing". But, having never had a boy, I'm a bit nervous, but I am SOOOO excited for Mikey to get his boy! He told me, "I love our little girls...and I would have been fine having another...but I am so excited to have a boy too!"

That is really the coolest thing ever....just gives me the chills to think about Bailee and her breaking the news before the pregnancy or an ultra sound! I think the name Jake fits into the family just perfectly! You will have an adorable boy with perfectly coifed hair :) We are so excited for you!

Boys are way easier. Except when you have to change the diaper for the first time...

Congrats! You'll love having a boy. I have two and I have to say they are easier than girls. A little less whinny and dramatic. I love my girls, too, but my boys were so mellow.
That's so neat that your daughter knew the baby was a boy and even had a name picked out. These little ones are so close to heaven. I just love that:)
